How it all started
In 2021, we sold our 900 sqft Brooklyn condo and decided to move to Suffield. “Taking the Reins”, a movie by Hallmark, had just been filmed at our future home! We knew then our home had endless potential.
Having no experience owning an old home, just admiration for historic architecture, we quickly came to terms with the fact that this property was now a major project: from endless wallpaper and decades of old paint stripping to tree removal, brick repointing, restoration of numerous doors and windows, the list goes on—and continues to this day!
Throughout this renovation process, the house has revealed its ability to host our community and businesses for special events and social gatherings, and, more importantly, to be a place for families to make lasting memories.
